Marketing Intern—Earth’s Edge

Earth’s Edge (EE) is looking for a Marketing Intern for this summer and you may be perfect for it. Although this internship is unpaid, the hours are flexible and the knowledge you gain will be priceless. You will have the opportunity to work with the EE team as well as Heritage Anderson Digital Marketing (HADM) . This internship is the perfect opportunity to help hone your skills that you’ve learned in the classroom and apply it to the real world.

You will have the opportunity to: 

• Communicate with marketing agencies
• Develop product relations
• Gather marketing media for products and campaigns
• Assist in promotion development

Required skills:

• Knowledge of e-commerce marketing strategies
• Experience with media (image size, format, etc.

Communications Intern—Truscott Rossman

Truscott Rossman is a public relations agency currently looking for a communications intern. As an intern for Truscott, you will receive a well-rounded communication experience by working with clients on a variety of projects. This position is paid and can also count for college credit.

You will have the opportunity to:

Marketing and Design Intern—Grand Valley Human Resources Health and Wellness

Grand Valley’s Human Resource and Wellness Center is looking for a Marketing and Design intern starting in the summer of 2016 through April 2017. They are looking for someone who is highly motivated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about health and wellness to take on this paid position of theirs.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Create programming and event marketing materials including flyers, brochures, banners and graphics
• Develop basic video tutorials and promotional videos
• Write news releases for media outlets
• Assist with Farmer’s Market operations and promotions
• And MORE!

Required Skills:

• Proficient in computer skills:
  • Photoshop software
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Website Management
  • Converting file formats
  • Microsoft Office
  • Camtasia or other related video editing software experience

• Graphic Design experience
• Ability to travel between GVSU DeVos, CHS and Allendale campuses

Minimum hours: 20 hours/week
